South Africa meets Japan!

I was truly honoured to have been a part of the Toyota Forklift Launch, of their upgraded premises… a “meeting” of two cultures, namely: South African and Japanese… with the Executive of the South African and Port Elizabeth operations sharing the stage with those from the Japanese Organisation… what an amazing event… so very proud, too, of our excellent Suppliers that we have, right here in our city…

BWA Chairs’ Strat Workshop

Thursday 19 and Friday 20 January 2017 saw the 7 Regional Chairs, as well as the BWA National President, and the Head Office Personnel.. all meet up at the gorgeous Idwala Guest House and Conference Centre… to share, to inspire, to strategize, to motivate and to learn from one another, as well as from our amazing Facilitator(thank you, Prudence!)… I was incredibly proud to know that I am part of such a sisterhood of like-minded women… who continue to support one another and who are so willing to engage!

2017- Here we go!

It is now upon us:  the start of a new year, the start of 2017!!

Globally : There have been several well known people, who have sadly passed….; there have been some tragic events, in the past few days and weeks, on the international stage…; BUT, we need to focus on the positive and the challenges… and seriously (this is not just cliche’d talk…) figure out how we can overcome those challenges and really turn them into opportunities… : 9 times out of 10…it is possible

I firmly believe in the adage that “everything happens for a reason”… and think we should try to learn from negatives… and always try to mentor, guide and assist those who are climbing that ladder… in order to upskill themselves… Sharing is not a “bad” word… so we need to try and be less “territorial”… it does work!

As I enter what will be my 60th year (sooo excited!), I once again am reminded that my Family is my “everything” and that my business is very important… alongside the organisations with whom I align myself…. and I am always grateful for the support of my Family, Friends, Clients, Sponsors, Colleagues and the wonderful Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, of which I am so proud!

So: 2017 – Here we go!!!
